WILLIAM MILES / JOYA RESIDENT ARTISTS TECHNICIAN 2024

Born in South Africa, Will made the pivotal move to Denmark in 1997, where he has since lived for 26 years. Graduating in 2003 with an IT diploma from Ikast Business School in Denmark, he embarked on a notable 17-year career as a Software Engineer. In 2011, he explored entrepreneurship, trying his hand as a self-employed photographer for an extended period.

Demonstrating a diverse skill set, Will has immersed himself in various projects over the past 7 months. This includes assisting in the construction of a tiny house, involvement in permaculture design, dry stone walling, and the supervision and execution of roofing and maintenance tasks for farm house outbuildings. In 2023, he achieved the completion of his first novel and is presently focused on creating his next literary work.
