Joya: flujo / Alicia Radage / 2026
Alicia Radage is a London-Based artist from Yorkshire working across sculpture, performance, video, text and sound. Her practice explores neurodiverse experience, animism and alternative ways of sensing, communicating and making meaning beyond neurotypical frameworks. Working with materials, environments and more-than-human relationships, Alicia often creates strange encounters that invite listening, intuition and interspecies communication. At Joya, she developed interactive animatronic systems, expanding her earlier experiments with precise mechanisms that animate isolated body fragments. Her research considered how bodies relate to materials and systems, while exploring the absurd effects of late capitalism and climate catastrophe. Through humour and curiosity, Alicia embraced bewilderment gently.
