UAL Art for the Environment Residency Programme / Daniel Ginsburg

Daniel Ginsburg

The Art for the Environment Residency Programme (AER) provides University of the Arts London (UAL) graduates with the opportunity to apply for a 2 to 4 week fully funded residency at one of our internationally renowned host institutions, to explore concerns that define the 21st century – biodiversity, environmental sustainability, social economy and human rights.

Founded in 2015, internationally acclaimed artist Professor Lucy Orta, UAL Chair of Art for the Environment – Centre for Sustainable Fashion, launched the programme in partnership with international residency programmes and UAL Post-Grad Community.

Daniel Ginsburg graduated from UAL with an MA in Photography in 2021, and pursues his artistic and photographic practices in Oxford. He seeks to combine his passions of science, psychology, photography, and storytelling to give voices to the unheard nonhuman masses that make up the entangled multi-species world. Using film manipulation, text, and forms of layering in the development process, he attempts to envision ecocentric realities and solarpunk futures.
