“Spending two weeks at Joya: AiR was truly enriching. I enjoyed ample space and mindspace, with my own writing studio, surrounded by a visually stunning landscape that fostered creativity and reflection. The isolated setting, with the majestic mountain valleys just outside and a thinker's bench overlooking it all, offered the perfect environment for deep work and introspection.
Evenings were particularly inspiring, featuring artist presentations just before dinner, where we shared practices and sparked new ideas. The tranquility of Joya helped me recharge and focus, and I slept incredibly well — my dreams were unusually vivid and thought-provoking. Grateful for this peaceful haven to develop my feature film project and its presentation materials”.
Daniel Wirtberg
Daniel is a Swedish film director based in Stockholm. After graduating from FAMU (the Czech film academy in Prague) in 2003, Daniel has been freelancing within the film industry and has experimented thoroughly with imagery, expression, shooting formats and techniques.
